MB1 Sports Performance Academy

MB1 Rugby League Clinics provide the opportunity to local athletes to participate and learn from professional coaches and former Cowboys, Queensland and Australian player Matt Bowen.

The rugby league clinic is coming to Bowen on the 19th and 20th of February, it will be held at the Bowen Seagulls Rugby League Club. The cost of the clinic include attendance on both days and an official MB1 Shirt, hat and water bottle.

Matt has designed the clinics to assist in the development of fundamental skills, speed, agility, tackling, health and well-being.

Timings for the age groups are:

9-11yrs and 12-14yrs age groups:

08:00am - Arrival and registration + gear collection 08:30am - Welcome and introductions 09:00am - Clinic begin 12:30pm - Finish

15-17yrs age groups:

1:00pm -Arrival and welcome talk + gear collection 1:30pm - Clinic begin 5:30pm - Finish

Parents please know that you do not need to stay and supervise your chid, we will take care of them, however you are more than welcom to stay and watch if you wish.

Please ensure all attendees where appropriate clothing and pack the following food/snacks.

The MB1 team will be following the Covid safe guidelines during the clinic.
