About

Bellfield Cricket Club

Welcome to Bellfield Cricket Club

est. 1934 Our home ground is the wide expanses of Ford Park, located on Oriel Road. Situated in the heart of Bellfield, the club is proud to be the only sporting club that represents this vibrant community.

Our main pavilion is known as the 'Bullring', an oasis where our players and supporters can retreat from the mid-summer heat and enjoy a cold drink. The clubrooms have recently been greatly refurbished to represent the new era of Bellfield that is beginning.

Bellfield is immensely proud of its long history as part of the Heidelberg District Cricket Association. The club was formed in 1934 and since then has won many pennants in 'A' grade and below.

As of season 2012/13, Bellfield has made the transition across to the Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association, and with this looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead.

Bellfield is a diverse club with a strong commitment to fostering community spirit and providing cricket opportunities for players of all ages and ability.

VISION We exist to be competitive and enjoy our cricket both on and off the field by striving to win premierships.

CHARACTERISTICS AND VALUES The purpose of the existence of the Bellfield Cricket Club is to win premierships in every grade that we play.

We also strive to provide cricketing and social opportunities to everyone willing to become a member of our club, regardless of age, gender, cultural or religious beliefs in a friendly and inclusive environment.

To earn and enhance a high level of respect throughout the local community. As our club grows, we will seek to become a vibrant part of the Bellfield and Heidelberg communities.

To develop and grow positive and productive relationships with other sports organisations in the local community.

Working to develop a strong partnership with the Banyule Council, it’s staff and departments.

We will invest in our future by further developing our junior participation program. Through guidance these cricketers of tomorrow can learn the skills and appreciation of our game.

The committee will manage its finances openly and transparently to ensure its stability.

To be recognised as a safe, healthy, successful and enjoyable sporting and social environment.
